Nita Sharma BSc (Hons) Dip. Arch. RIBA est architecte avec plus de vingt ans d’expérience professionnelle. Elle est spécialisée dans le design ‘attentionné’, sur mesure et unique des espaces de vie.
Nita habite sur la Côte d’Azur depuis 2007, où elle a travaillé sur des projets de construction résidentielle neuve, des rénovations, des hôtels et des espaces business et commerciaux partout dans la région. Pour la réalisation de ses projets, Nita a obtenu des permis de construire à Antibes, Valbonne, Roquefort- les-Pins, Mouans Sartoux, Villeneuve Loubet, Tourettes-sur-Loup, La Roquette-sur- Siagne et des autres communes dans la région. Sa clientèle comprend des clients anglophones, français et internationaux, et elle a collaboré fréquemment avec d’autres architectes, créateurs et a développé un réseau d’artisans et fournisseurs de confiance.
Avant son arrivée en France, Nita était Directrice chez Edward Cullinan Architects à Londres, où elle a travaillé pendant six ans, notamment sur des grands projets prestigieux, tel l’University of Cambridge School of Mathematics, Singapore Management University, Warwick University International Manufacturing Centre et Bristol Harbourside. Nita a également travaillé sur des bâtiments classés à Londres, ainsi que des projets résidentiels de prestige dans les alentours de Londres.
Nita a obtenu un diplôme (BSc (Hons)) en architecture de Bath University (Angleterre); un diplôme deuxième cycle (Graduate Diploma) en Architecture (Dip. Arch.) d’Oxford Brookes University (Angleterre) qui comprenait un programme d’échange avec Washington Architecture Consortium, Alexandria (VA, Etats-Unis); et une diplôme troisième cycle en architecture à Oxford Brookes University. Nita fût membre élu du conseil d’administration de Architects Registration Board, l’autorité de réglementation des architectes au Royaume-Uni.
Nita est architecte agréé en France (Ordre des architectes) et au Royaume-Uni (Architects Registration Board) et elle est membre agréé de Royal Institute of British Architects. Nita travaille en anglais et en français. English

“Nita was the main architect for our house in Roquefort Les Pins and it was a pleasure to work with her. She had quite a few constraints imposed by local planning rules which meant our initial contemporary ideas were not feasible. Despite this and our wish to build something original she came up with a design which we love and also satisfied the highly conservative planners. We mixed modern design with a traditional stone façade which is quite unique and often people think we have converted an old building into a modern home.
The interior has some clever design ideas which allowed us to have a much bigger internal footprint than planning allowed. In the design process we created a simple SketchUp model which allowed us to play around with ideas rapidly in 3d before going to the final design. I found this highly effective and Nita was always quick to respond and give her views even if she felt they were different from ours. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nita and I would certainly employ her again if the occasion arose – fortunately our house speaks for itself and I don’t see us building again!”. JD

It was a complicated project that involved a great deal of liaising with the Town Planners and Mairie which Nita undertook on my behalf thereby facilitating the permission from them for the works to start. As I was unable to be in France at the time she also met various contractors on my behalf ensuring they were up to the task and were familiar with the strict regulations required by the Mairie.
